Description of Change: The new engine oil pressure switch has a lower deactuation pressure than the previous engine oil pressure switch. The new pressure switch is introduced in order to reduce the occurrence of premature engine shutdown that is due to a low engine oil pressure fault.

Adaptable To: The 3E-7690 Pressure Switch is a direct replacement for the 3E-7692 Pressure Switch. The effectivity for the new pressure switch can be found in Table 1.

The new engine oil pressure switch is adaptable to first production of the machines that are listed.

Tighten the pressure switch to the following torque. ... 40 ± 5 N·m (29.5 ± 3.7 lb ft)
