Start By:
- Remove the rear axle housing and the differential. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Rear Axle Housing and Differential - Remove".
- Remove the shafts. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Axle Shafts - Remove".
- Use Tooling (A) and suitable blocking in order to support differential arrangement (1). The weight of the differential arrangement (1) is approximately
830 kg (1830 lb) . - Use a suitable lifting device in order to support the wheel assembly (2). The weight of wheel assembly (2) is approximately
1501 kg (3310 lb) . - Remove two bolts (3) across from each other and insert Tooling (B). Remove remaining bolts (3).

- Repeat Steps 1 through 4 for the other side.
