  1. Establish a 30.5 m (100 ft) straight speed test course. Make sure that the course provides sufficient distance for the machine in order to reach full speed before the machine passes the starting line. Make sure that the course provides sufficient distance for the machine in order to be stopped after the finish line is passed. The course should have no slope.

  2. Drive the machine to the test area.

  5. Move throttle switch (3) to the HIGH IDLE position.

  6. Monitor hydraulic oil temperature with Tool (A). Operate the machine until the oil temperature reaches 43 ± 5.6 °C (110 ± 10 °F).

  7. Move parking brake switch (2) to the OFF position.

  8. Back up the machine. Make sure that you back up the distance that is needed in order for the machine to reach full speed before the machine reaches the starting line.

  9. Time the machine through the 30.5 m (100 ft) course. Maximum acceptable travel time is forward and reverse.

  10. Repeat the test in reverse. The forward and reverse times should be within 1 second of each other.

  11. Drive the machine to a smooth, horizontal surface.

  12. Move propulsion lever (1) to the NEUTRAL position.

  13. Move parking brake switch (2) to the ON position.

  14. Move throttle switch (3) to the LOW IDLE position.
