Whenever the operator presses a switch, a constant current flows to one of the IQAN modules. All of the switches are connected to one of the IQAN modules. Whenever the operator presses a switch, the signal will be received by the IQAN.
Direction/Speed Selector Switch

Power Train Pump |
Direction selector switch (1) and the door switch control the flow of electricity to proportional solenoids (3) and (4). Direction selector switch (1) must be moved in either FORWARD position or REVERSE position in order to drive the machine. The machine will not move in any direction when the door is open. The door must be closed in order to activate the door switch. If the door switch is not active or the door is open, the machine will not move.

Speed selector switch (2) controls the flow of electricity to high/low gear valve (5). High/low gear valve (5) controls the gear position on the transmission gearbox.
Differential Lock Switch

Differential Lock Valve |
The differential lock switch controls the flow of electricity to the differential lock valve. The differential lock valve is an on/off solenoid that controls the engagement of the differential lock in the front axle and the rear axle. When the differential lock switch is pressed, a signal is received by the IQAN. The IQAN will activate the differential lock valve. The IQAN will automatically deactivate the differential lock if the ground speed goes above 5 km/h (3 mph).
Parking Brake Switch

(6) Ladder valve. (7) Parking brake valve. |
The parking brake switch controls the flow of electricity to parking brake valve (7) and ladder valve (6). Parking brake valve (7) and ladder valve (6) are on/off solenoids. Ladder valve (6) controls the access ladder on the machine. Parking brake valve (7) controls the engagement of the parking brake in the front and the rear axle.
Note: The IQAN system must receive two electrical signals in order to send the signal to parking brake valve (7). The parking brake switch must be in the OFF position and the "Minimum Current" signal from the accelerator pedal must flow to a proportional solenoid on the power train pump.

Four/eight Wheel Drive Valve |
The four/eight wheel drive switch controls the flow of electricity to the four/eight wheel drive valve. The four/eight wheel drive valve is an on/off solenoid that disengages the rear output shaft of the transmission gearbox. When the four/eight wheel drive switch is activated, a signal is received by the IQAN. The IQAN will then activate four/eight wheel drive valve.
Machine Shutdown Switch

When the machine shutdown switch is activated electricity is cut off and the engine is shut off.
