(3) 7U-6735 Disc Springs

Number of disc springs ... Four

Free height of each spring ... 10.5 mm (0.4134 inch)

Diameter of each disc spring ... 160 mm (6.3 inch)

(4) On the idler shaft, use the 6U-5515 Shim Pack to obtain an end play of 0.105 ± 0.055 mm (0.0041 ± 0.0022 inch).

(6) Before assembly, apply 5P-3413 Pipe Sealant to the outer diameter of the seal. It is critical that no pipe sealant contacts the shaft or the rubber lip.

(7) Before assembly, lubricate the sealing lip with the lubricant that is being sealed.

(8) Torque for the solenoid valve ... 25 ± 5 N·m (18.0 ± 4.0 lb ft)

(9) Torque the 12 bolts to 25 ± 5 N·m (18.0 ± 4.0 lb ft). Then, turn each bolt 115 to 125 degrees.

(10) Thickness of each of the six discs ... 1.52 ± 0.13 mm (0.060 ± 0.005 inch)

(11) Thickness of each of the five friction discs ... 2.87 ± 0.08 mm (0.113 ± 0.003 inch)

(12) Thickness of the disc ... 9.53 + 0.00 - 0.2286 mm (0.375 + 0.00 - 0.009 inch)

(13) Torque for the nine bolts ... 135 ± 20 N·m (100.0 ± 15.0 lb ft)
