(6) Before assembly, apply 5P-3413 Pipe Sealant to the outer diameter of the seal. It is critical that no pipe sealant contacts the shaft or the rubber lip.
(7) Before assembly, lubricate the sealing lip with the lubricant that is being sealed.
(8) Torque for the solenoid valve ... 25 ± 5 N·m (18.0 ± 4.0 lb ft)

(9) Torque the 12 bolts to 25 ± 5 N·m (18.0 ± 4.0 lb ft). Then, turn each bolt 115 to 125 degrees.
