Introduction
The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.
Problem
When applying filters, Cat® App may not display the same fault codes or same number of fault codes on Android and iOS devices. Assets with zero codes are displayed in the filter results. The mobile platforms are also displaying different login hours for the same code.
Note: Android is a trademark owned by Google LLC.
Note: iOS is a trademark owned by Cisco System, Inc.
The difference in the time zone shifts of the two mobile platforms is causing the application to display different fault codes.
Solution
AVSpare is aware of this problem, but an interim repair has not been defined.
Do not operate or work on this product unless you have read and understood the instruction and warnings in the relevant Operation and Maintenance Manuals and relevant service literature. Failure to follow the instructions or heed the warnings could result in injury or death. Proper care is your responsibility. |
Dealers are advised to compare the filtered results on the mobile device to a traditional User Interface (UI). These results help to understand any differences in the reporting of the fault codes.
AVSpare also recommends tracking any concerns of fault codes on a main UI, to ensure timely updates about machine issue from Cat App.
