PROBLEM
Certain parts Distribution Centers may have shipped 521-0747 IMU Cable Assemblies change level -01 and -02 from July to September 2020 after the previous Parts Stock Service Letter was terminated. The 521-0747 CH01 IMU Cable Assembly that connects the front IMU to the radiator bulkhead connector can be pinned incorrectly. The cable is only used on large mining truck models equipped with the Full Command arrangement. The incorrect pins could result in fault codes and damage to the IMU sensor. |
ACTION REQUIRED
Inspect all 521-0747 IMU Cable Assemblies in dealer parts stock for the correct part change level of -03 and up. Remove all cables in inventory which are change level -01 and -02. NOTE: There is no need to inspect cables which are already installed and running on machines, the failure mode is immediately apparent once installed. |
