If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code. |

PROBLEM
The existing bolts may be too long on certain 239D3 and 249D3 Compact Track Loaders. If the existing bolts are too long, they can interfere with the front sliding roller frame. |

PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling. |
The machine may have been built with 60mm long bolts which can be detected if 11.9 is on head of bolt. The correct bolt is 50mm and will have 10.9 on the bolt head. Refer to Image1.1.1 and 1.1.2. 1. Inspect the bolts heads for both roller frame front axle tube assemblies. - If 10.9 is on the bolt head, the bolt is correct, no further action is required. - If 11.9 is on the bolt head, the bolt is incorrect, proceed to the next step. Note: Refer to Image1.1.1 for bolt locations. Note: Refer to Image1.1.2 for example of number on head of bolt. |

2. If 11.9 is on the bolt head, remove the bolts one at a time and replace with new 8T-6430 Bolts (50mm long). 3. Tighten the bolts to a specified torque of 460 +/- 60 N.m (340 +/- 44 lb.ft). |
