This Program must be administered as soon as possible.
When reporting the repair, use "PI11253" as the Part Number and "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim
Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code.
This Revised Service Letter replaces the 02Sep2020 Service Letter. Changes have been made to the Parts Needed.
|The 395-5455 and 395-5456 hose assemblies need to be inspected and replaced on certain MH3037 Material Handlers. The existing hoses can rub against the hood support and other hoses resulting in failure and hydraulic leaks which may, in conjunction with other factors or circumstances, result in a risk of personal injury or death.
|In order to allow equitable parts availability to all participating dealers, please limit your initial parts order to not exceed 45% of dealership population. This is an initial order recommendation only, and the ultimate responsibility for ordering the total number of parts needed to satisfy the program lies with the dealer.

Hold all 395-5455 and 395-5456 Hose Assemblies for a Parts Return Request (PRR). A Parts Return Request (PRR) will be issued to you through the Send-It-Back process after the claim is submitted. Make sure to list the service letter program number on the packing slip and include the closed work order paperwork. Handle all other parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
If a Parts Return Request (PRR) is not issued to you after 30 days through the Send-It-Back process, handle the parts in accordance with your warranty bulletin on warranty parts handling.

Dear Cat Product Owner:
The 395-5455 and 395-5456 Hose Assemblies need to be inspected and replaced on the products listed below. The existing hoses can rub against the hood support and other hoses resulting in failure and hydraulic leaks which may, in conjunction with other factors or circumstances, result in a risk of personal injury or death. You will not be charged for the service performed.
Contact your local Cat dealer immediately to schedule this service. The dealer will advise you of the time required to complete this service.
If you are no longer the owner of this product(s), please contact your local Cat dealer so that our records can be updated.

1. Park the machine on level ground, lower all implements to the ground, shut machine off, and relieve all hydraulic system pressure. Refer to SEBU9201-03, MH3037 Material Handler, Operation and Maintenance Manual, and M0072580-00, MH3037 Material Handler Machine Systems, Disassembly and Assembly, for more information.
|2. Disconnect existing 395-5455 Hose Assembly (A), 395-5456 Hose Assembly (B), and 6V-8635 Adapter (C) along with associated hardware. Hardware and seals will not be reused. See Images1.2.1 and 1.2.2.
|3. Install new 395-5455 Hose Assembly (A), 395-5456 Hose Assembly (B), and 6V-8635 Adapter (C). Use new hardware and seals.
|4. Inspect area for additional hoses that may be fouling or contacting components and causing wear. Replace as needed and take photo's of any damage and attach to claim.
|5. Top off oil in hydraulic tank and start engine. Refer to SEBU9201, Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil Change", for additional information.
