1. Power take-off clutch lever - engages or disengages the rotor by engaging or disengaging the power take-off clutch.


NOTICE

ENGAGE AND DISENGAGE THE POWER TAKE-OFF CLUTCH ONLY WITH THE ENGINE AT LOW IDLE AND WITH NO LOAD ON THE ROTOR.


2. Rotor transmission shift lever - selects the gear ratio (high or low) of the rotor transmission.


NOTICE

SHIFT THE ROTOR TRANSMISSION (ITEM 2) AND THE ROTOR TWO SPEED AXLE (ITEM 3) ONLY AFTER DISENGAGING THE POWER TAKE-OFF CLUTCH (ITEM 1).


3. Rotor axle speed range switch - selects the high or low speed range of the rotor axle.

NOTE: THE COMBINATION OF THE ROTOR TRANSMISSION (ITEM 2) GEAR RATIOS AND THE ROTOR AXLE (ITEM 3) SPEED RANGES YIELDS FOUR POSSIBLE ROTOR SPEEDS.

4. Rotor hood door control - raises ("Open") or lowers ("Close") the rotor door.
5. Rotor load control auto-manual switch - selects automatic or manual load control. This switch should be at "Auto" when the machine is working and at "Manual" when work is to be performed on the machine with the engine idling.
6. Rotor load control speed switch - selects the maximum travel speed attainable for each range. At "High" the maximum travel speed is 100%. At "Medium" and "Low" the travel speeds are 55% and 30% of the maximum.
7. Rotor load control sensitivity switch - controls the sensitivity of the cutter load control. This switch should normally be set to the fourth mark toward "Max.".
8. Automatic/manual cutter depth selector - selects automatic or manual control of the cutting depth.
9. Manual rotor cutting depth controls - raise (green) or lower (red) the cutting depth.
10. Manual rotor cutting depth control indicators - light a green light when the rotor is being manually raised and a red light when the rotor is being manually lowered.
