Software Support Option

When the display is started, the software checks in order to ensure that the correct option key for the software has been entered. If the key is not found, a message appears. If this occurs, do one of the following:

  • Refer to Systems Operation, "Software Support Option" for more information.

  • Consult your supervisor.

General Error And Warning Messages

"A system error has occurred. The application has been shut down for safety."

During start-up, one or more of the software components of the system failed to start. Contact your supervisor.

"An Error Has Been Detected That May Result In Inaccurate Guidance: Measured Blade Dimensions Do Not Agree With Configured Blade Dimensions!"

The following errors and messages apply to all AccuGrade Systems.

  • AccuGrade Systems automatically check the configured blade width against the blade width that was measured by the two GPS receivers. If the two blade widths vary by more than 100 mm (4 inches) this error message is shown.

  • The check ensures that the configured blade width matches the blade width of the machine. An error may indicate that a incorrect machine settings file has been loaded into the display. An error may also indicate that the GPS receiver positions on the machine have changed, for example, if the receiver masts have been damaged and are not in the original position.

  • Confirm the correct machine settings file is loaded. Check your GPS receivers and receiver mounts for any signs of damage and confirm they are securely mounted. Contact your supervisor in order to measure and enter the machine dimensions again.

Note: The results of this check are recorded in the Program Log file.

"Avoidance Zone Areas Are Too Far From The Design Surface And Will Not Be Drawn. Check Your Units Or Redesign The Avoidance Zone File."

The avoidance zone may have been designed with the wrong units of measurement. Contact your supervisor.

"File Error While Loading ..."

The design avoidance zone file, background plan file, or site map file cannot load because of an error in the file. This means that background information that is contained in this file will not appear in the plan view. As the files do not contain information on vertical guidance, you can continue.

For avoidance zones or a design background plan, try to load the design again. For a site map file, try removing the data card and then reinserting the data card.

If this still fails, contact your supervisor in order to check that the DXF file does not contain any errors. Import the DXF file into the AccuGrade Office Software.

"No Data Card"

The AccuGrade System is attempting to log information onto the data card, but there is no data card inserted in the data card slot. Insert a data card, or make sure that the card is inserted correctly. Then continue with the current task.

"Not Enough Memory To Load The ..."

The display has run out of memory in order to load the design, the design avoidance zone, the background plan, or the site map file. This may occur when you use the following:

  • Large designs

  • Large avoidance zones

  • Large site map files

  • Large background plan files

As the avoidance zones, the site map, and the background plan files do not contain information on vertical guidance, you can continue. Otherwise, try the following:

  • Shut down the display and restart the display.

  • Ask the provider of the data to reduce the size of the files.

  • Pass your design through the AccuGrade Office software.

"Out Of Memory!"

The display has run out of memory. You may have turned on the FTP support when a large design or large background plan file is loading.

Try the following:

  • Shut down the display and restart display.

  • Load a smaller design or a smaller background file.

"Part Of The Svd Design File Is Invalid"

There is a problem with the SVD file that you are trying to use on the data card. The design will be unloaded and the design will not be able to be used. Contact the provider of the data.

"Reverting To Factory Default Settings"

All of the settings on the display are set to the default values. This message appears after you update the display firmware.

Try the following:

  • Restore a configuration for the display that is suitable for your setup of the machine.

  • Ask your supervisor to configure the AccuGrade System for use on your machine. Save the configuration of the display.

"Some Settings Are Missing Or Invalid, And Will Be Reset To Factory Defaults"

If you start the display or you restore a configuration file for the display and some of the settings on the display are missing or invalid, perform the procedure below.

Note: The settings will be set to the default values.

Try the following:

  • Restore a configuration for the display that is suitable for your setup of the machine.

  • Ask your supervisor to configure the AccuGrade System for use on your machine. Save the configuration of the display.

"The Design File Could Not Be Saved"

The display could not save the level design file or could not save the sloping surface design file that is being created or edited.

Check that the data card is correctly inserted into the data card slot. Ask your supervisor to check that the data card:

  • Is not full

  • Is not corrupt

  • Has attributes that allow write access

"The Design You Selected Could Not Be Loaded"

There is a problem with the design file, or the card has been removed from the display.

Check that the card is inserted correctly. Load the design again.

"The Selected Setting File Could Not Be Read"

The display is unable to restore the display setting file that is selected.
