(37)Transmission Drive Universal Joint
Lubricate 1 fitting in each end of joint. Total 2 fittings (49G1-49G811).
(38)Final Drive Universal Joints
Lubricate 1 fitting in each joint. Total 2 fittings.
(39)Power Control Drive Universal Joints
- 1. Lubricate 1 fitting in each joint of forward shaft. Total 2 fittings.
- 2. Lubricate 1 fitting in each joint of connecting shaft. Total 2 fittings.
(40)Hydraulic System
- 1. Lower all equipment. Stop engine.
- 2. Open bleed plug (if equipped) to relieve pressure.
- 3. Remove filter cover assembly. Inspect seal. Use new one if damaged.
- 4. Remove used element.
- 5. Install new element.
- 6. Install cover and start engine. Run at low idle.
- 7. Open bleeder plug. Close when oil runs free of air bubbles. Check sight gauge.
- 8. Stop engine and add oil, if required.
(41)Transmission
- 1. Remove plug from base, mounted on lower side of transmission, and drain housing only.
- 2. Remove cover nuts.
- 3. Remove cover assembly. Inspect seal and use new seal if damaged.
- 4. Remove used element. Clean and install drain plug.
- 5. Install new element.
- 6. Install cap assembly. Start and operate machine a few minutes.
- 7. Check oil level with engine running. Add oil if required.
(42)Engine Crankcase Breather
- 1. Remove entire breather assembly and disassemble.
- 2. Wash element in clean solvent, and dry with pressure air.
- 3. Wash breather housing in clean solvent.
- 4. Assemble breather and install.

When using pressure air, wear safety glasses and protective clothing. Use 30 PSI (2 kg/cm2) maximum pressure air for cleaning purposes. |
